TOW OF SHEERLEG PACIFIC TITAN
Project Summary
The 1750 t capacity sheerleg PACIFIC TITAN (ex I LIFT NY, ex WEST COAST LIFTER) was sold to a new owner in Everett and needed to be wet towed from New York, NY, to Everett, WA. For a safe tow condition, the crane boom needed to be skidded forward and lowered onto a boom rest on the stern. The stabilizing sponsons were to be stowed on deck and lashed for the tow.
At the end of the summer in 2025, the sheerleg was successfully towed from New York to its new owner in Everett by the 46 ST BP tug JUSTINE FOSS.
